Faeger comes from a genuine love of jewellery, colour and beautifully made things, and from the belief that they can add something to the way we feel. A good piece can change a simple shirt, bring colour to the hand or give you pleasure each time you notice it. We want our jewellery to have presence and still fit naturally into your life.

With a background in gemmology, we have a particular eye for colour. We look for natural gemstones with depth, life and individuality. Technical quality matters, but choosing well also takes experience: knowing when colour, cut and character come together in a stone you want to keep looking at. Those are the stones we want to build a piece around.

Colour is where we begin. The rest is judgement: the proportion, metal and setting that make the stone look its best and the finished piece feel right when worn. We begin with classic fine jewellery forms, then refine them until they feel modern. The setting is shaped around the individual gem, the claws are kept as fine and precise as possible and the back receives the same attention as the front.

Every Faeger piece is designed and made in London. We work closely with skilled local jewellers and oversee the process from the first drawing through to setting and final polish. Choosing fine jewellery can seem more complicated than it needs to be, so we share what we know without telling you what you ought to choose. The right piece is often the one you keep returning to and, once it is yours, the one you keep reaching for.
